Someone joked that you could go all the way to LA and back and not find a school as good as Peralta. On Sunday, that’s basically what the Peralta Community did.  By walking a combined 2,375 laps around the blocks surrounding our school, students raised thousands of dollars to support classroom programs in art, music, and Spanish, as well as physical education and our library. Be proud, Superwalkers!
There is still time to get those pledges in: Letting friends and family know how far your children walked is a great way to inspire contributions. Those with online access can click here to donate on a secure site — easier than writing and mailing a check!
