In conjunction with Bay Area Bike to Work Day 2010, Peralta will be celebrating students, teachers and staff who ride their bikes, roll or walk to school on Wednesday morning, May 12.
For those who typically drive, students will also be rewarded for taking alternate forms of transportation like BART, bus or carpooling that day. Every student has an opportunity to be involved and show that together we can reduce vehicle use and support our livable community.
- Register for a tote bag full of goodies! Complete and turn this registration form: the first 60 who register will receive a bag.
- Win prizes while helping the environment! Volunteers will be stationed in the Peralta playground before school on May 12 to give out stickers and prizes to all.
- Win a Free Bike! All students and families who intend to ride their bikes to school/work between May 5-13 can register for a free bike and other cool prizes here.
- Participate in the county-wide Bike to Work Day on Thursday, May 13, 2010.
