The online auction is closed! Now the live action begins.

If you haven’t purchased your auction passes, click the ticket button at left to buy online. Tickets are $10 in advance, and $15 at the door—so buy ahead! Your name will be on the list if you buy online, so don’t worry if you don’t have a paper ticket.

This year’s event will include an online shopping site—silent and live auctions—dinner and entertainment.

Unlike past auctions at Peralta, this year’s event will be for adults only. So take advantage of this opportunity to enjoy a night Uptown.

How You Can Help:
Donate. Your participation and imagination is all that is needed to make this event special. We all have a talent, please share yours! (click for the Parent Donation Form – and even more ideas).

The Peralta Instant Wine Cellar. Bring your bottle(s) of wine (a personal favorite, a forgotten gift, extras hanging around) to Etienne Lehrer for Wine Wednesdays at morning drop-off. She is filling up her wagon to stock the cellar for the lucky winning bidder at the Peralta Auction.

Help with the food/drinks. Drinks and Dinner will be served and if you feel you can assist – either cooking for large crowds or helping acquire ingredients at the best possible price – please contact Shelagh Becerra.

Reach out at the Merchant Calling Party. Grab your charged cell phone, get your merchant list and touchbase with some of the incredible merchants in our community who are helping to create an amazing auction. The Peralta Auction is… Going Once, Going Twice, Going Where?

Mark your calendars for March 6…This year the Peralta Auction will be held offsite. Kids will have their own party at Peralta while the parents whoop it up at one of Oakland’s coolest, and most unusual venues. After much discussion, a survey, and touring about 12 different places, the auction committee settled on the Uptown Body & Fender located on 26th, between Telegraph and Broadway. It has just the right combination of space and panache. There’s lots of room to display things and for parents (and guests of parents) to mill about, so no more crowded multipurpose room. Peralta is lucky to be chosen by Uptown owner Giovanna Tanzillo who opens up her venue to a select few nonprofits in the area. And here’s some good news: It’s free.

The Peralta Uptown Auction will be for adults only, unlike past auctions at Peralta. Alcohol will be served. And while the kids will be missed, the rest of the school year is chock-a-block with community wide events on campus—this will be a nice chance to see each other in a different environment and enjoy an adult night out. The goal here is to raise as much money as possible (especially given the likelihood of losing our Title 1 money). The committee is trying something new, and it will be exciting to see how it goes.
