Here's the info from 2017, in case you're wondering what this event is all about:

Come to our reimagining of Treasure Island! Not the Pirate one - the one in San Francisco Bay built for the 1939 Golden Gate International Exhibition, where visitors experienced the Panorama of the Pacific with sights, sounds, and flavors from around the world. Our auction this year will be held on Saturday, March 18th at the Humanist Hall at 390 27th Street, Oakland, an inviting and cheerful space just up from Uptown. We’ll feature late-30s inspired cocktails, music provided by Peralta’s own talents, games of skill, and donated silent and live auction items from local restaurant gift certificates to toys to weekend getaways. 

Tickets are on sale now, and every Peralta family, faculty, and staff member is welcome to join the party whether interested in shopping the auction or just enjoying an adults-only evening out. Our ticket prices are scaled from $10 - $60 per person. Pay what you can (and what you think is fair) for your ticket, which includes admission to the event, one drink ticket, and our appetizer buffet.

Where do our auction items come from? Local businesses and attractions throughout the state make tax deductible donations of gift certificates and goods to help us raise funds for the PPTG’s programs. Our most competitive items, though, come from your own kids - through our class gift donations - and from families like yours and Peralta teachers who donate parties and adventures as Pay-to-Play items.
