About Us

History

Peralta celebrated its 125th anniversary in 2005. We started as a one-room school house in 1880.

Now

This year, we have 251 students in grades kindergarten through fifth. Peralta is a designated arts anchor school.

Students and families are drawn to Peralta due to the school’s strong sense of community, dedicated staff and a unique socio-economic, cultural and ethnic diversity.

The entire Peralta community works hard to fulfill our mission, ensuring that Peralta is a beautiful, safe and welcoming environment; a place for students to develop high self-esteem, compassion and respect for others, as well as a lifelong love of learning.

Setting and Curriculum

We are proud of our neighborhood school. The administration and staff have invested in creating a beautiful setting with gardens and children’s art. Our school is committed to a comprehensive curriculum including math, technology, environmental science, Spanish, art, and music.
