Our after-school program, P.E.A.C.E. (Peralta’s Enriching and Creative Environment), is open from the first day of school through the last day.
P.E.A.C.E. provides extended care from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on every school day and on many school holidays.
PARENTS: Monthly accounting calendars are due on or before the 7th of each month.

Program Information
This sliding-scale program is designed to meet the needs of all Peralta families, with enrichment classes and homework time, along with active and quiet play. It reflects the Peralta community’s longstanding commitment to integrated programming that does not separate children by income.
P.E.A.C.E. is administered by the nonprofit group Aspiranet, and partially funded by the California After-School Education and Safety Program (2002′s Prop. 49). This allows Aspiranet to offer the program at reduced cost to those who meet income requirements. Full scholarships are available. See tables below for details.

If you are an incoming kindergarten family, you will receive information and registration forms at your pre-kindergarten assessment.
Class Offerings
Classes run from September through February, and from February through June. Offerings vary each term. Past classes have included:

- Creative Expressions (Arts & Crafts)

- Eat-a-Story (stories and snacks)
- Recreation (outdoor games)
- Visual Arts

- The Leisure Club (art materials and reading in a quiet, unstructured setting)
