Fundraising Overview
The Peralta Parent Teacher Group (PPTG) organizes events that build relationships, maintain our facilities and raise money to support our many programs that public education (OUSD) funds are unable to cover: classroom assistants, field trips, garden education, PE, and vocal music. The PPTG is a non-profit organization and your donations may be tax deductible.

Peralta Fund
At the the beginning of each school year, the PPTG holds our annual giving campaign “The Peralta Fund Drive”. We ask every family to contribute at a level they feel comfortable donating. This effort generates the most income and accounts for 60% of the PPTG budget. Checkout the Peralta Fund Drive website for more information.

The Peralta Walkathon takes place in October. It’s a kid-powered fundraiser that promotes movement, fun & community building all while raising funds to support programs at our school. For more information visit the Walkathon page.

Bloom Home
Refer a home buyer or seller to Stephen Bloom, a former Peralta Parent and local Realtor. He then donates part of his fee from the sale to the PPTG — this could mean $2,000 for Peralta on a median-priced home. (It’s also a potential tax deduction for the seller!) Any Peralta parent, teacher, staff member, extended family or friend can take part. Call with any questions at 510-541-6728, or email Stephen directly.
NOOWORKS
Shop at Nooworks and support a Peralta Parent & local business that generously contributes to Peralta! Nooworks is a woman owned, women run business. We make limited edition textiles with artists we love in cuts to make you look and feel good. All our garments are produced in California. We try to source all our materials in the USA and work with incredibly nice people. We are a small team with a lot of love. Thanks for your support.
