OUSD's Quality Community Schools Development group will hold two Parent/Community Engagements as part of its Listening Campaign around Defining Quality Schools.

Join them tonight, January 20, from 6-7:30pm at Studio One Art Center and on Monday, January 24, from 6:30-8pm at Montclair Recreation Center to share your perspective about what makes a quality school and supportive school system. Parent and community input is absolutely integral to the successful creation of a common and comprehensive definition of quality, so we hope to see you there!

Results of this Listening Campaign will inform the development of School Quality Standards to be proposed to the OUSD Board of Education in June for ratification, so we need your help now!

Please contact  Rebecca.adams@ousd.k12.ca.us with questions. Also, please visit www.qualitycommunityschools.net to see opportunities for further engagement, as well as community input (from parents, teachers, principals, central leadership, unions, community based organizations, etc) they've gathered thus far from the Listening Campaign.
